#365feministselfie: Week 17

I am participating once again in the #365feministselfie project, now in its sixth year. Here is a thread for others to share selfies and/or talk about the project, visibility generally, self-appreciation, and related topics. And also because I always just love seeing your splendid faces!

A few of my selfies over the last two weeks:

image of me from the shoulders up, wearing a black blouse with a floral pattern and large black-framed glasses; my hair is pulled back in a ponytail
Feeling relieved that Dudley had come out of surgery fine.

image of me wearing grey-framed glasses and a teal top, with my hair down, standing in front of the Liberty Bell
At the Liberty Bell the day the Mueller report was released,
because I didn't know what else to do with myself that evening.

image of me standing with Deeky on my back patio, squinting into the sun as we take a selfie
Two old people try to take a selfie while looking into the sun.

image of me standing in my back garden, wearing a floral top and grey-framed glasses, with my hair pulled into a knot on the top of my head
In the garden.

image of me standing in a full-length mirror, with my hair pulled back into a low bun, wearing grey-framed glasses, a salmon pink cardigan, a blouse with an abstract pattern in orange, pink, and white, white jeans, and iridescent pink shoes
Off to therapy!

image of me from the shoulders up, smiling broadly with my hair down, wearing grey-framed glasses, a mustard yellow cardigan, and a green top with a Wizard of Oz pattern on it
Feeling good in one of my favorite outfits.

The full outfit: I was glad to be wearing this super cute ensemble at brunch that day, not only because I feel great in it, but also because I was recognized in the wild! It's the first time I've been approached by someone in public who recognized me (other people have recognized me, but not approached me, only telling me later by email or tweet), and I feel so lucky it was someone totally lovely, with whom I hope to have tea very soon!

Please feel welcome and encouraged to share your own selfies in comments, or share your thoughts on the project, or solicit encouragement or advice, or do whatever else feels best for you to participate, if you are inclined to do so!
