#365feministselfie: Week 25

I am participating once again in the #365feministselfie project, now in its sixth year. Here is a thread for others to share selfies and/or talk about the project, visibility generally, self-appreciation, and related topics. And also because I always just love seeing your splendid faces!

A few of my selfies over the last week and a half:

Today in Misogyny. And Every Day.

Misogynists: Women just aren't equal to men. They just can't do the same things men can. It's science.

Women: *do the same thing men have done*

Misogynists: Eww gross. That isn't ladylike.

Rinse and repeat for fucking ever.

Am I talking about soccer? Yes! Am I talking about running for president? Yes! Am I talking about— Yes! I am talking about all the things, because misogynists run the same playbook in every goddamned situation.

The full outfit: I was glad to be wearing this super cute ensemble at brunch that day, not only because I feel great in it, but also because I was recognized in the wild! It's the first time I've been approached by someone in public who recognized me (other people have recognized me, but not approached me, only telling me later by email or tweet), and I feel so lucky it was someone totally lovely, with whom I hope to have tea very soon!
