Nothing, because I've got one of the stainless steel fridges (chosen by the home's previous owners) whose front isn't magnetized because of its particular composition.
On the sides of my fridge, which are not stainless steel (because it makes the fridge cheaper; the previous owners were people after my own heart, or I theirs), you will find a collection of magnets, some of which hold up artwork from a friend's daughter or display emergency numbers, but most of which are just hanging out because they are fun.
