Every time I see this question, I seem to come up with a different answer. Respect for consent, honesty, kindness, integrity, willingness and ability to listen... There are a lot of possible answers. I don't think that any of them are wrong, because I value all of them. But today I'm going to say the one I value the most is empathy.
