What is the first food you can remember just loving when you were young?
There was this grape sherbet that I could only get at an ice cream place at the mall. Now, you have to understand that I lived in an exurban town where there wasn't even a movie theater, no less a mall. We had to drive 20 minutes to get to the closest mall, which seemed so far when I was a kid. It was a special occasion that we even went to the mall, no less got ice cream at the mall. So this grape sherbet was an elusive treat, which made it all the more desirable. I lived for that grape sherbet. I probably only had it six times in my entire life, lol, but I loved it immensely and can still conjure its flavor to this day.
