Last night, I was watching an old episode of Chopped, and one of the basket ingredients was pattypan squash, about which one of the competing chefs said, "It's probably the worst vegetable out there." That particular phrasing just made me laugh for ten million years.
So, of course, today's QotD is: What do you think is probably the worst vegetable out there?
Okra. It's not the taste; it's the texture. I know, I know — it's only slimy when it's prepared badly, but, if my experiences trying to eat okra have taught me anything about okra, it's apparently almost impossible to get right.
