Katelyn Ohashi and David de Gea Amaze in Their Sports

Hello! Below are two videos — one of UCLA gymnast Katelyn Ohashi doing an incredible floor routine that earns her a perfect 10, and one of Manchester United goalkeeper David de Gea making a record-setting 11 saves, one more amazing than the next, in a single game yesterday.

They are both better than probably anything that will happen in the political news today, so I thought we'd start the week off with them.

But let's hope that I'm wrong, and they are overshadowed by the news that Donald Trump and Mike Pence both resigned, and we'll all laugh when we remember this as The Day Liss Thought Nothing Good Would Happen in Politics Today.

Until that moment, enjoy Katelyn and David doing their respective things in breathtaking fashion!

Video Description: Gymnast Katelyn Ohashi, wearing a sparkly, dark blue leotard, does a floor routine to a medley of up-tempo pop classics. The routine is as cheeky as it is powerful, and the crowd loves it. At the end, she is awarded perfect 10s, and she celebrates with her teammates.

Video Description: Goalkeeper David de Gea, wearing a bright green keeper's uniform, makes 11 incredible saves in multiple ways — with his feet, with his hands, standing, leaping, punching the ball, catching the ball — all in just the second half of Manchester United's match against the Tottenham Hotspurs.

Wow squared.
