I want some enterprising reporter to ask @SenateMajLdr, @SpeakerRyan, and any/every sitting Republican in both chambers of Congress: "Clearly, you never would have tolerated President Obama behaving like Trump is behaving, so why are you tolerating it now?" Make them answer it.

That would, of course, require said reporter(s) to abandon the press' incomprehensible fealty to bothsiderism. Which is naturally another part of why I want someone to start asking the question.
They are soft-pedaling how dangerous he is to retain the illusion of "balance," and to straightforwardly address that Trump is an authoritarian nightmare monster significantly undercuts the continued ability to engage in the bothsiderism that is abetting the erosion of our democracy.
So if any patriot remains among the political press, they need to break the both-sides spell by starting to ask the obvious questions that need to be asked.
