Depends on what it is. If I'm writing something personal to another person, like a note or an inscription, I'll use cursive. If I'm writing any kind of list, especially if someone else may need to consult it, I'll use print. When I'm just scribbling notes to myself, it's usually this in-between garbage handwriting that is neither cursive nor print, and illegible to pretty much anyone but me.
