You have been tasked with casting a big-screen adaption/reboot of the classic sitcom Laverne & Shirley, and you have to cast the roles of: Laverne, Shirley, Lenny, Squiggy, Mr. DeFazio, and Carmine. You are not bound by gender, nor are you required to cast them as any particular race, age, body type, etc. The DeFazios can become the Nguyens or the Joneses in the rewrite, for instance.
