After the debate, the candidates' families joined them onstage, as is tradition, and AP photographer Rick Wilking caught this moment of President Obama greeting one of Mitt Romney's grandsons:

I find this image so moving. For all the reasons I find all the pictures of President Obama interacting with children moving, but also because Mitt Romney has been very disrespectful toward the President during these debates, and, after the last debate, Mitt Romney's son Tagg said he wanted to "take a swing" at the President—yet President Obama still treats even the youngest members of their family with respect and kindness, giving a little boy a quiet moment to shake the President's hand.
