Nearly two weeks after asking Ryan Phillippe to give his "gayest look" to the camera, and after 386 gayest looks (and counting…), and after GLAAD requested an apology, Jay Leno has apologized for his insensitivity:"In talking about Ryan's first role, I realize that what I said came out wrong," Leno said. "I certainly didn't mean any malice. I agree it was a dumb thing to say, and I apologize."Here's hoping Mr. Leno never has to apologize for another gay joke again—because he stops making them.
