Didn't take long for it to become official, did it? ABC reports that Joe Lieberman has become, in de facto fashion, The New Republican.
A "close Lieberman adviser" told George Stephanopoulos that Karl Rove "reached out to the Lieberman camp with a message straight from the Oval Office: 'The boss wants to help. Whatever we can do, we will do.'"
So much for being an "independent" candidate.
Of course, Lieberman could always turn Rove down.
