Gov. Palin wants a Federal Marriage Amendment to change the Constitution to define marriage between a man and a woman. Her running mate (HA!) Senator McCain believes it is a state's issue. I say, "Fuck'em both." Ya know what is equally popular in the US than traditional marriage? DIVORCE! Family values rock!
Here is Governor Palin in an interview on the Christian Broadcasting Network. CBN is the most important journalistic enterprise in America. She can't say no to Christian journalists. Just keep all those liberal rags away from her. SECRET SERVICE, do your job.
PALIN: [I]n my own, state, I have voted along with the vast majority of Alaskans who had the opportunity to vote to amend our Constitution defining marriage as between one man and one woman. I wish on a federal level that that's where we would go because I don't support gay marriage. I'm not going to be out there judging individuals, sitting in a seat of judgment telling what they can and can't do, should and should not do. (Video at CBN)She isn't going to "judge" until she is in office. Keep diggin' Palin.
Aside: CBN's founder, Pat Robertson, has a special place in my brain. When I was a youngin', okay in college, I had a double album gate fold of Pat Robertson speaking. I bought it for like 25 cents at a thrift store. If I ever needed to sleep, I would put that album on the turntable and the dulcet, lulling voice of Pat would immediately put me to sleep. I didn't become a Christian though. Poor me.
