Stepping to the Right of our Left Brains

Dr. Jill Bolte Taylor is a neuroanatomist, and one morning, she had a stroke.

Most people would find grim irony in that, but Taylor found something far deeper and more meaningful, something that spurred her on to eight years of recovery so she could tell her story. The video below is an eighteen-minute speech she gave on the subject at the Technology, Entertainment, Design Conference in Monterey, California, complete with real human brain.
