Whence the appeal of 7th Heaven, espousing as it does such silly and reactionary values, in whose universe every extra-marital sex act results in pregnancy or syphilis? And why do I still get excited every time I come across old 90210 on the Soap Channel? I don't question it. I just watch. And eat Cheez-its. Preferably in my underwear.
