Sob Story du Jour

It's hard work. Members of the House of Representatives will have to cut short their lobbyist supported weekend time off.Instead of coming in Tuesday and leaving Thursday, legislators will be expected in for a vote by 6:30 PM Monday and stay until 2PM Friday.
Sob, sob. A Republican demands the Family Values Tour continue.
"Keeping us up here eats away at families," said Rep. Jack Kingston (R-Ga.), who typically flies home on Thursdays and returns to Washington on Tuesdays. "Marriages suffer. The Democrats could care less about families -- that's what this says."

What this says? Get off the plane and get off your ass, you whining sniveling weasel. When the 109th Congress comes to an end on Friday, members will have worked all of 103 days this year, seven days less than the Do Nothing Congress of 1948.

Do you feel sad? How much do you work?
