Ezra was there for the announcement of his candidacy and covers it here. He says "Edwards seemed more interested in leading a movement," and I hope he does. It's been a long time since someone suggested that service and sacrifice was the patriotic duty of every citizen, not just those in the military. People want something to care about besides themselves, but most are too lazy to find it on their own. They need a leader, who will offer them a direction and inspire them with his or her passion.
